I’m a thirty-something living in Hasselt (Belgium, Europe). I take pictures while traveling, both far away and in my home town/country. There’s lots of beauty everywhere.
My photos are only collecting digital dust, so I decided it time to give them a new life. A collection of my favorite pictures will appear on this blog and I will continue to add new ones when the weather is bad in Belgium. Which is rather frequently, they say. Expect more to come in fall and winter. So, if you like what I’m doing, also check my Instagram account.
I’ve bought my own first camera in 2012. Most things I’m learning by going outside and experiment. After a few years of taken my camera everywhere in all possible weather conditions, it was time for an upgrade.
These days I’m carrying a Canon 7D MK II body with Canon EF50mm f/1.4 USM, Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG lenses. However when travelling light, I tend to fallback to the Canon 28-105mm f/4 lens. It is quite a versatile lens, with some downsides of course, that fits most of my needs.
My photographs will have to speak for themselves. I’m still in doubt whether I should add some background stories or not.. I would say: “let your imagination run free”, it will be much more exciting, I’m sure!
